Self defense behind Israeli attacks, Re: Syria Crosses Israel’s WMD Red Line, FrontPage Magazine, January 31, 2013

Thursday, January 31st, 2013

Israeli warplanes attacked and destroyed a truck convoy inside Syria yesterday that was transferring sophisticated high tech anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles and quite possibly chemical weapons as well from the Syrian government to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Syria’s Scientific Studies and Research Center, which operates her weapons of mass destruction program, was also attacked and destroyed.

Israel had long warned the Syrian government that it could not and would not accept the transfer of sophisticated high tech weaponry or chemical weapons to Hezbollah and that any attempted transfer would be seen as a red line Israelis couldn’t and wouldn’t allow the Syrians to cross. Syria’s President Bashar al- Assad chose to ignore the warnings and tried to send sophisticated high tech weaponry and/or chemical weapons to Hezbollah anyway and Israel protected herself by destroying the shipment and demolishing the SSRC for good measure. Israel protecting herself…that’s why she attacked.

Rightly so too.

Hezbollah is unalterably opposed to Israel’s existence and wants nothing more than to obliterate the country and remove it from the face of the earth while annihilating as many Israelis, Jews, as it can along the way. It has spent many years trying to do both and has committed innumerable atrocities in the effort. It is a terrorist organization by any stretch of the imagination and its hatred and disgust for Jews and the Jewish state, which is rooted in Islam, is palpable. The Israelis believed, believe, (rightly so I might add), that their national security would be severely compromised and that hundreds of thousands if not more Israeli lives would be lost if Hezbollah had sophisticated, high tech weaponry and/or chemical weapons at its disposal. Destroying the truck convoy and demolishing the SSRC were acts of self defense and were entirely justifiable, reasonable and necessary.

Don’t blame the Israelis. They were just defending themselves and had every right and reason to do so.

Sad but true.

Hey, they live in a tough neighborhood that’s getting tougher all the time…what choice did they have…what else were they supposed to do, lie back and let themselves be killed and their country destroyed?

It was self defense alright.

Back to the past or forward to the future…that’s the question for Egyptians, Re: Violence Grips Egypt: Morsi Declares State of Emergency, Protesters Defy His Decree, Atlas Shrugs, January 30, 2013

Wednesday, January 30th, 2013

Violent clashes between pro and anti-President Mohammed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood forces have been taking place throughout Egypt and the situation in the country has become so severe that Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, the Defense Minister and head of the Army has warned that the conflict could lead to a collapse of the state if it continues.

Anti-Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood protesters believe that the Islamist government is non-democratic, that it rammed through a Constitution based on Islam without due consultation and approval, that the democratic process has been hijacked, that Morsi and the Brotherhood have been acting like dictators instead of elected officials responsible to the people, that they have tried to cement their grip on power through violence and that they have failed to take measures to come to grips with the countries deteriorating economy.

The protests are becoming larger and more violent as we speak and it is entirely possible that el-Sissi’s warning was prescient and the government will lose control and collapse, which would of course lead to even more, violence, bloodshed and chaos. Even if the government doesn’t collapse and does maintain control and power the violence, bloodshed and chaos aren’t going to go away because the only way it will survive is through the use of crushing force, through using the military to crush all dissent.

Whether Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood can remain in power is an open question at this point.

Their hold on power is tenuous at best and whether or not they remain in office really depends on the willingness of the military and the police to violently suppress the people. They might but on the other hand they could abandon Morsi and the Brotherhood for the good of the country (which has suffered mightily under their rule) and govern themselves.

The situation as they say is fluid.

In any case, Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood have shown the world that they are Islamists of the first degree…have shown the world that they are raving lunatics whose true purpose is to turn Egypt into a fully Islamic state governed by Sharia, Islamic law…have shown Egyptians that they have no answers to their many problems, that their problems will get worse, not better, under them and that they are entirely unfit to govern…have shown the world that their hatred and disgust for Jews and Israelis knows no bounds, that they will do everything they can to undermine Israel and will eventually go to war with her…have shown that they are anti-American and have no hesitation in taking advantage of the United States, in manipulating Americans and using them as much as they possibly can… have shown that women will be chattels and nothing else under them and that whatever independence they had will be lost…have shown that they are ruthless and liars and cannot be trusted or depended upon and have shown that their thinking and behaviour is uncivilized and backwards, comes out of the seventh century and has no place in the modern world.

No one knows how the conflict in Egypt will play out of course and it will take many twists and turns until its resolved. It can rightfully be seen however as a struggle between the darkness and the past as represented by Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood, and the future, between the atavism and cruelty of the seventh century and the freedom, democracy and modernism of the twenty-first. Do Egyptians want to be part of and live in the seventh century or do they want to be part of and live in the twenty-first century…that’s what the conflict in Egypt is all about.

Is it back to the past or forward to the future…that’s the question for Egyptians.

Obama’s ridiculous and dangerous military thinking, Re: Destroying the U.S. Military, Right Side News, January 27, 2013

Monday, January 28th, 2013

The number one duty of the President of the United States is to protect and defend America, Americans, the Constitution and American institutions from their enemies.

That cannot be done without a strong, robust, capable military.

It is absolutely, categorically, impossible to do that without a strong, robust, capable military.

Like the President, the number one duty of the military is to protect and defend the country, its people, its Constitution and its institutions.

The military has been significantly weakened during Obama’s time in office and its ability to protect and defend America, Americans, the Constitution and American institutions has become questionable under him. It has lost funding, resources, manpower and equipment during his time and a very real case can be made that it can no longer meet its primary responsibilities of protection and defense.

If Obama doesn’t prevent further budget cuts that are in the offing the military will no longer be able to meet its primary responsibilities. It will become eviscerated, hollowed out and a shadow of its former self and America’s enemies will be quick to take advantage, thus endangering American’s lives and the life of the country itself.

Further budget cuts are scheduled to take place March 2 unless they are stopped.

Obama has it within his power to prevent further budget cuts, maintain and restore funding and restore the military to its former strength.

If he fails to do so America and Americans will be in deep, deep trouble and America and Americans will be attacked all over the world, including in the homeland itself. American property will be destroyed, American blood will flow and American lives will be lost because America’s enemies won’t hesitate to take advantage of her weakness.

If he fails to do so he will have placed the country, its people and its institutions in mortal danger.

If he fails to do so it will be because he has chosen to, not because he had to.

That would mean that he has utterly failed in his number one duty and prevented the military from carrying out its number one duty as well and that he has done both on purpose.

Those are acts of treason and are impeachable.

If the military is further eviscerated on March 2 impeachment proceedings should begin immediately.

America’s enemies are watching closely and Americans should be too. They should also be doing everything they can to prevent the military from being further weakened and everything they can to strengthen it.

In their own best interests.

How anyone, especially the President of the United States, can even consider eviscerating the military and rendering it incapable of protecting and defending America, Americans, the Constitution and American institutions in the face of mortal danger from serious, heavy duty enemies all over the world is beyond me.

Hopefully it will be beyond most other Americans too and Obama won’t be allowed to get away with it.

America’s enemies know that you cannot protect and defend America, Americans, the Constitution and American institutions without a strong, robust, capable military.

Let’s hope that Obama comes to realize it too.

Has Iran’s Fordo nuclear facility been sabotaged?, Re: Iran’s Fordo hit by explosion?, WorldNetDaily, January 27, 2013

Sunday, January 27th, 2013

Reports are coming out of Iran that a large explosion has destroyed much of Iran’s Fordo nuclear facility. Fordo is thought to be Iran’s second largest nuclear facility and plays a key role in Iran’s nuclear weapons development program. The reports have not been corroborated by any official Western source, yet, but it seems clear that a large explosion did in fact take place at Fordo, which is carved into a mountain and is considered to be impregnable to airstrikes and most bunker buster bombs.

If the reports are true, and there are ample reasons to believe that they are, a severe crimp would be placed in Iran’s race toward developing and using nuclear weapons. The nuclear weapons development program would not be incapacitated, but it would most certainly be hampered and slowed down. Although the Iranian regime has not officially acknowledged the explosion it evidently believes that it was sabotage and that the explosives could have reached the blast site disguised as equipment.

Regardless, the explosion can only be seen in a very positive light. It did more than put a severe crimp in Iran’s race toward developing and using nuclear weapons. It relieved some of the time pressure to use overwhelming force to shut down the nuclear weapons development program altogether and also showed the Iranians that their most secure facilities aren’t as secure as they thought they were and that no part of the program is immune from sabotage. Will that deter or give pause to the mad Mullahs who are pushing Iran’s development and use of nuclear weapons? No it won’t, but it might deter and give pause to some of the scientists and technicians in the program, which might in turn lead to delays or subversion. At the very least, the explosion is a giant headache for the mad Mullahs and everyone else involved in the program and that is a very good thing.

Especially if it really was sabotage as the mad Mullahs believe it was.

There have been rumors recently that the Israelis have decided to increase their efforts to sabotage Iran’s nuclear weapons development program as a prelude to using overwhelming force to shut it down altogether if their efforts are unsuccessful. Lets hope that the rumors are true and that the Israelis succeed in sabotaging the program, succeed in shutting it down and destroying it through sabotage without having to use overwhelming force.

The Israelis know perfectly well that nuclear weapons have to be kept out of Iran’s hands at all costs because the instant Iran acquires them is the instant they use them against Israel in an effort to annihilate the country and remove it from the face of the earth. They also know that sanctions and diplomacy have been fruitless, are fruitless and will be fruitless, that time is not really on their side and that they are on their own, that their fate is in their hands and no one else can be counted on. If they can shut the program down and get rid of it through sabotage all the better. If they have to use overwhelming force to shut it down and destroy it so be it. After all, it is their lives, their land and their country and one nuclear weapon, not several, one, would obliterate all three and there is no doubt whatsoever that the Iranians will attempt to do exactly that as soon as they are able to, as soon as they develop and possess a nuclear capability.

Let’s hope that the explosion at Fordo was sabotage and that sabotage will succeed in shutting down and destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons development program, that overwhelming force won’t be necessary.

That’s the best alternative, for everyone’s sake.

Except the mad Mullahs and their fellow travellers of course.

Go play with your Lego, Re: Lego accused of racism with Star Wars set, Daily Telegraph, January 24, 2013

Friday, January 25th, 2013

Muslims in general have a well-deserved reputation for being notoriously thin-skinned and for being offended and taking umbrage at anything they perceive to be un-Islamic, at anything that can possibly be seen as negative or insulting to Islam, Allah and Muhammad, at anything that violates Islamic imperatives and tenets. Not surprisingly, that can include virtually anything and everything, no matter how innocuous and no matter how much one has to stretch one’s imagination to connect something to Islam, Allah or Muhammad.

That intolerance and paranoia, which is firmly rooted in Islam itself, precludes questioning, criticizing, contradicting, mocking, satirizing or rejecting Islam in any way, shape or form because doing any of that carries severe punishments and can literally get a person mutilated and/or killed. It has a chilling effect on free speech and freedom of expression, helps keep Islam firmly rooted in the seventh century and plays a major role in the Islamization of the United States and the rest of the West.

Lego may be the latest victim.

Lego has been accused of being racist and insensitive because a Star Wars model that it is coming out with allegedly resembles the Hagia Sophia mosque in Istanbul and because the accompanying figures allegedly depict Asians and Orientals as people with “deceitful and criminal personalities.” There is a possibility that legal action may be taken against Lego for “inciting racial hatred and insulting human dignity.”

Lego has responded by saying that “The Lego Star Wars product Jabba’s Palace does not reflect any actually existing buildings, people or the mentioned mosque” and that “The Lego mini-figures are all modelled on characters from the movie.”

Whether or not this mollifies the troglodytes and atavists who are offended remains to be seen but somehow I doubt it and it is very safe to say that Lego hasn’t heard the end of these absurd and ridiculous accusations. Racist, insensitive Lego…that’s ridiculous and absurd alright and so are the troglodytes and atavists who are offended.

You know, even if by some wild stretch of the imagination the Star Wars model does resemble the mosque in Istanbul and even if the mini-figures do depict Asians and Orientals as less than flattering in someones perverted imagination, so what? The troglodytes and atavists who are offended have no right to impose their backwards and odious creed and way of thinking and acting on the rest of us, which is exactly what they are trying to do. Attacking portrayals of Islam, Allah or Muhammad, unflattering or otherwise, real or imagined, is especially hypocritical and self-serving since Muslims regularly and frequently portray non-believers in the most racist, unflattering, reprehensible terms possible, especially Christians and Jews. Talk about racism…racism is part of the essence of Islam. Talk about “inciting racial hatred and insulting human dignity.”…Islam has been doing that from the very beginning.

So why are Muslims in general so notoriously thin-skinned and why are they constantly being offended and taking umbrage anyway? Is it envy, inferiority, shame, a sense of victimhood, fear, mob psychology, small brains, small……., indefensible Islam itself, any or all of the above?

Decide for yourself. I’m going to play with my Lego.

I’m also going to buy Jabba’s Palace as soon as I can.

Lego needs our support and I suggest you do too. It is after all one of the greatest toys of all time, if not the greatest, and has brought a great deal of joy to children and adults alike.

Troglodytes and atavists indeed.

Treasonous, impeachable and probably certifiable, Re: Egypt to receive F-16s, Washington Free Beacon, January 24, 2013

Thursday, January 24th, 2013

Like all Islamists and members of the Muslim Brotherhood Egypt’s President Mohamed Morsi hates Jews and is disgusted by them and is committed to the destruction of Israel, to obliterating it and removing it from the face of the earth. His views and those of the Brotherhood are incontrovertible and uncompromising, rooted in Islam and well-documented. He and the Brotherhood think the same about America and Americans and indeed the Brotherhood is actively working to subvert and destroy the United States from within and turn the U.S. into an Islamic country governed by Sharia, Islamic law. The Brotherhood has made no secret of that and it is well-documented as well. It is patently obvious that Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood and Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government do not have the best interests of either Israel or the United States at heart and that they are actively working against both in order to make Islam supreme in both lands.

So what has the Obama administration decided to do? It has decided to send sixteen F-16 fighters and 200 Abrams tanks to Egypt by the end of the year under a deal made with former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in 2010, that’s what.

Never mind that those weapons will almost assuredly be used against the Egyptian people as they rise against the Brotherhood or against the Israelis as Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood government give vent to their Islamic spleen for political or religious reasons. Never mind that they could easily fall into the hands of other Jihadists who will use them against Americans or other Westerners. Never mind that sending the weapons is a de facto endorsement of Morsi and the Brotherhoods destructive, odious and poisonous policies, activities and intentions, in the Middle East and America itself. Never mind that sending them compromises Israel’s national security and therefore compromises the national security of the United States too. Never mind that the rationale for sending the weapons is spurious and exceedingly questionable and doesn’t pass examination, pass muster. Never mind that the deal was made with Mubarak, who was well aware of what the Muslim Brotherhood stood for and would attempt to carry out if it could and who kept it suppressed to prevent violence and atrocities and keep Sharia out of the public sphere. Never mind that arming an unstable Islamist regime is dangerous and self-destructive. Never mind that sending the weapons dramatically destabilizes the Middle East and dramatically increases the chances of war in the region. Never mind that arming one’s enemy is just plain dumb. Never mind, never mind, never mind….

Obama and his administration have committed many acts which could justifiably be called treasonous and would justify impeachment. Sending F-16s and Abrams tanks to Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood would certainly be treason and would certainly justify impeachment too.

After Cairo, Benghazi, Algeria it would probably be certifiable as well.

A good job all around, Re: Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu narrowly returned to power, Vancouver Sun, January 23, 2013

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013

Benjamin Netanyahu was re-elected as Prime Minister of Israel yesterday. His victory was much narrower than expected however and pundits are seeing the vote as a repudiation of his policies.

They’re both right and wrong.

Its his domestic policies which have been repudiated, not his foreign, defense and national security ones, and this is a distinction which must be understood and drawn. Domestic issues such as the high cost of living, the affordability of housing, the influence of the ultra-orthodox in general and their refusal to serve in the military in particular dominated the discourse and were what the election was all about. His foreign, defense and national security policies hardly entered into the discourse at all and when they did Israelis clearly said that they were generally satisfied with his performance in these areas. They weren’t satisfied with his domestic policies though and made it very clear in the election that they were voting for change domestically. That was the electorates message and the new coalition government that Netanyahu forms will have to institute domestic reforms if it wishes to survive.

Which it will.

The election results were very positive for Israel. Her foreign, defense and national security policies will remain untouched and very robust and the priorities, activities and potential activities in these areas will stay the same. They have essentially been approved and endorsed by the electorate. At the same time there will be much needed domestic reforms and the country will be stronger and less divided as a result. In returning Netanyahu to office they put a Prime Minister in place with the skill, judgement, experience, leadership ability and perseverance to both protect the country and make the desired changes.

Which he will.

Israelis returned a very strong, capable Prime Minister to office, essentially approved and endorsed his foreign, defense and national security policies, told him to get on with the job domestically and put him on a short leash.

A good job all around.

From the desert to your doorstep, Re: The bloody desert, New York Post, January 21, 2013

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013

Three Americans were murdered by Islamic terrorists, Jihadists affiliated with al-Qaeda, in last weeks large-scale attack on a natural gas plant in the Algerian desert near Algeria’s border with Libya. Citizens of Britain, Japan, Malaysia, France and Columbia were also murdered by the Jihadists. Islamists were spared in the attack. Many non-believers escaped, which kept the death toll from being much higher. One of the Jihadists said “We’ve come in the name of Islam, to teach the Americans what Islam is.”

How has the Obama administration reacted?

It hasn’t.

Not by doing anything substantial to deter more attacks and murders in the future anyway. It issued the usual platitudes and recriminations but it has taken no hard steps to protect Americans and American and Western interests from more attacks and murders. It responded with weakness, not strength, and that virtually guarantees more attacks and murders in the future, including attacks and murders in the American homeland itself and in the West in general. Words won’t deter Jihadists and prevent them from committing more and more atrocities. Only the sword will, and Americans unwillingness to use it means that more and more of them will take place.

That’s the real lesson of Algeria and Cairo and Benghazi and 9/11 and the USS Cole and all the other attacks on America and Americans over the years in the name of Islam. Weakness leads to destruction and death and until America and Americans hit back hard with every means at their disposal destruction and death is exactly what they’ll have to deal with…the rest of the West too. Its a lesson Obama and his administration haven’t learned and America and Americans have paid a terrible price as a result and will continue to pay a terrible price until they do. A weak America is a dead America and a strong America is a live America…that’s what it really boils down to.

Obama and his administration want to ignore the anti-American animus that pervades the Islamic world and render the American military incapable of defending and protecting America and Americans in the homeland or anywhere else. They want to delude the American people into thinking that Islam and Jihadists aren’t at war with them and mean to destroy the country and turn it into an Islamic state and that they don’t really need a strong military to defend and protect them.

That’s a death warrant for the country and for Western civilization and Americans simply can’t let Obama and his administration get away with it.

Algeria, Cairo, Benghazi…what did they expect?

Washington, Dearborn, Fort Hood…what did they expect?

9/11, the USS Cole, all the other attacks on America and Americans over the years in the name of Islam…Americans don’t need to be taught about Islam, they already know.

Coming soon to a doorstep near you…guess what…they’ve already come.

Now get rid of them while you still can.

And if you live in Canada, Britain, France, Germany or anywhere else in the West…the same applies.

Terrible speech, terrible presidency, Re: Uncompromising words, BBC News, January 21, 2013

Monday, January 21st, 2013

In his Inauguration Day speech in Washington earlier today President Obama signalled very strongly that he will not compromise on anything at all during his second term.

This means that he is going to spend the next four years attacking, demonizing and vilifying those who oppose him and his ideology and policy, acting unilaterally and flouting the Constitution, the rule of law and the boundaries of his office, presiding over the economic, social and military decline of the United States, attacking and diminishing freedom and civil liberties in the U.S., encouraging and enabling the Islamization of the country, turning America into a country riven by hate, envy and division, running roughshod over American values and institutions, deceiving the people and outright lying to them, spending like a drunken sailor and cementing his position as the worst President in American history. Among others, those are all things he did in his first four years (look at his track record honestly and objectively and tell me I’m wrong) and those are all things he’ll do in his second four years as well.

Among others.

In spades.

Compromise? There isn’t going to be any compromise and Americans are going to get more of the same as long as he is in office, whether they like it or not. That was what he really said in the speech. Even if he wanted to compromise on something he couldn’t anyway because compromise simply isn’t in his genes…even if he wanted to compromise on something he couldn’t anyway because he doesn’t have the political skills to do it…even if he wanted to compromise on something he couldn’t anyway because his narcissistic, my way or the highway personality doesn’t permit it.

America and Americans are worse off in every conceivable way since he took office and they will be that much more worse off by the time he leaves. That is the lesson of his first four years and the lesson of his life.

Will Americans put up with all this or will they force him from office while they still can, before the damage which is occurring becomes irreversible? There is already ample reason to impeach him and has been for some time-will Americans (that’s you and me folks) go ahead and get rid of him and save themselves, their country and their way of life while it is still possible? That’s the biggest question of all.

The only question really.

What a terrible speech.

What a terrible presidency.

Gun nut in the White House, Re: Thousands join pro-gun rallies in state capitals, USA Today, January 20, 2013

Monday, January 21st, 2013

President Obama’s response to the mass murder in Newtown, Connecticut reeks of opportunism and hypocrisy. It was, is, a callous, coldblooded, heartless effort to take advantage of a horrific event for political gain.

Prior to the mass murder in Newtown Obama and the Democrats paid lip service to the issue of gun control in the U.S. and basically ignored it and stayed as far away from it as possible because there was no political advantage in taking it on and because taking it on could have hurt them substantially politically. Virtually as soon as the first shot was fired Obama and the Democrats tugged on the nation’s heartstrings and began advocating for gun control as loudly and forcefully as they could. Not only was that callous, coldblooded and heartless, it was also transparent and despicable…taking advantage of childrens deaths for political purposes…it doesn’t get much lower than that.

Especially since Obama’s proposals and Executive Orders will do nothing to prevent mass murders like Newtown from taking place in the future, or to reduce gun violence in the country either.

The vast majority of gun owners in the United States are ordinary, responsible people who pose no threat to their neighbors or anyone else. Taking guns, yes even assault rifles like the one used in Newtown, out of their hands is pointless because the likelihood of them using their weapons against anyone except for self-defence is practically infinitesimal. Even though Obama and the Democrats have attempted to demonize and vilify gun owners and cast them all as crazed, right wing lunatics the reality is very different…the vast majority of gun owners in the U.S. pose no danger to anyone and taking guns out of their hands as a measure to reduce gun violence is simplistic, unrealistic and just doesn’t jibe with the facts. The United States has a serious problem with gun violence alright but it isn’t caused by ordinary, responsible gun owners in the country. They should be left alone. The use of handguns by criminals, especially young black males, and keeping guns out the hands of the mentally ill…those are the real issues, the real problems, and Obama’s proposals do nothing to deal with them, nothing at all.

Obama’s reaction was more than ill-conceived, meaningless and politically motivated. It was, is, also an abuse of power and a serious threat to Americans civil liberties and the rule of law in the United States. Putting proposals before Congress for debate, consideration and approval is one thing and clearly within a Presidents authority. Obama did that. Unilaterally enacting Executive Orders and in effect bypassing Congress to effectively create new legislation clearly is not. Obama did that too. He bypassed Congress, ignored his responsibility under the Constitution, flouted the rule of law and enacted 23 Executive Orders in response to Newtown…he used the tragedy to gather power unto himself. That really is an abuse of power and a serious threat to civil liberties and the rule of law. Obama wants to rule as a dictator instead of lead like a President and that is precisely what he has done by enacting the Executive Orders. Unless he is stopped it will happen time and time again and a dictator is exactly what Obama will become.

Last Saturday there were large rallies against Obama’s behavior at state capitals in all 50 states in the union. Gun owners and other ordinary Americans of all political persuasions let Obama know in no uncertain terms that his proposed solutions aren’t really solutions at all and that his dictatorial behavior is entirely unacceptable. The rallies were a real grass roots response and a repudiation of Obama and the Democrats and there will be many more of them unless they change their ways.

Thank goodness. Politicians are obviously not going to do anything to curb Obama’s behavior and that leaves it to the people themselves. Obama is beyond doubt the worst President in American history and has brought the United States to the brink of rack and ruin. Unless the American people stop him he will drive the country over the edge. Large bi-partisan rallies in the state capitols of all 50 states on the same day are a very good start.

Obama recently authorized secret service protection for him and his family for life, which is a first in American history. You can bet that the agents will be protecting him and his family with guns and that they won’t hesitate to use them if they think it is necessary. He also sends his children to a school bristling with armed guards who are there for one reason only…to protect the children and keep them from being killed or wounded by some mentally ill individual or a criminal or terrorist of some sort.

Which they will.

With guns.

Irony of ironies, Obama also wouldn’t be able to possess guns himself because he wouldn’t be able to pass any of his requisite background checks.

And Obama wants to take guns out of the hands of ordinary law-abiding Americans and make it more difficult for ordinary law-abiding Americans to acquire them and is willing to subvert the rule of law to achieve his ends.

Keep those rallies happening.
