Americans becoming dependent on government for food, Re: Food Stamp Nation Is Now Larger Than The Private Sector Workforce, Human Events, July 10, 2013

Americans should be prosperous and have the strongest economy on earth.

They aren’t and they don’t.

That is both a national disgrace and a human tragedy.

Recent figures reveal that roughly one third of Americans receive food aid from the government.

Let me repeat that. Roughly one third of Americans receive subsidies from the government such as food stamps in order to eat.

That means that the number of Americans receiving government assistance to feed themselves is larger than the number of Americans working in the private sector in the U.S.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Totally unnecessary too.

Here’s some more economic news from America.

Wal-Mart is the largest employer in the country…the second largest is Kelly Services, a temporary work provider.

Part-time jobs are at an all time high and there are now a record number of Americans with temporary employment.

Full time jobs are declining and so is the number of Americans with full time employment.

The unemployment rate remains ridiculously high and doesn’t include people who have given up looking for work.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Totally unnecessary too.

Americans have many, many reasons to be angry with their politicians and government but the state of their economy and the fact that roughly one-third of them need help from the government so that they can eat has to be at the top of the list.

And no, its not ex-President Bush’s fault.

Its current President Obama’s.

Its not going to get any better as long as he remains in office either.

In fact, its only going to get worse.

That’s reality, not public relations bull…. and gobbledygook.

Talk about the decline of a great nation.

Talk about the creation of a food stamp nation.

Enjoy your meal my friends.
