Pope Francis has invited the Israeli and Palestinian presidents to come to the Vatican and pray for peace with him.
Such a trip would be a complete waste of time because it would no more lead to peace than fielding a football, soccer, team of kindergarten students would lead to them winning the World Cup in Brazil.
One thing and one thing only will lead to peace.
That is the elimination of Islamic Jew hatred and anti-Semitism from the equation.
Until that happens, peace is simply not possible and will never happen either.
Islamic Jew hatred and anti-Semitism is the root cause of the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians and the conflict will never be resolved until Palestinians reject it root and branch.
The root cause of the conflict isn’t the existence of Israel or anything Israelis are doing or have ever done. It is Islamic Jew hatred and anti-Semitism pure and simple and all of the other supposed causes, every single one of them, are nothing more than phony excuses and impediments. To think that settlements or the security barrier or anything else is preventing peace is grotesque and ignorant and blind and untrue. There is no peace because Palestinians are consumed by Islamic Jew hatred and anti-Semitism based on their religious beliefs and because the outside world has allowed them to act out those beliefs…that’s why there’s no peace and never will be until its removed from the equation.
Since Islamic Jew hatred and anti-Semitism is justified, legitimized and mandated by Islam itself and has been ever since Islam came into existence 1,400 odd years ago and since Islam itself precludes peace and demands that Palestinians do everything they can to terrorize and murder Israelis and destroy Israel it is easy to see that prayers won’t solve anything.
If the Pope really wants peace between Israelis and Palestinians he will deal with the root cause of the conflict.
If the Pope really wants peace between Israelis and Palestinians he will demand that the Palestinians take demonstrable, concrete, measures to remove, to eliminate, Islamic Jew hatred and anti-Semitism from the equation, from their lives and from their society, as an absolutely necessary precursor.
The only absolutely necessary precursor.
Since he’s not going to do that a trip to the Vatican would be a complete waste of time as all the prayers in the world, no matter who is doing the praying, won’t make the least bit of difference.
It would be like bringing the leaders of all the Islamic counties in the Middle East to the Vatican and praying with them to end the terrible, religion based persecution, oppression and slaughter of Christians throughout the region, persecution, oppression and slaughter which is not new to our times but which has also been going on for 1,400 odd years since Islam came into existence.
That would be a complete waste of time too.
That won’t make the least bit of difference either.
